Dear Prospective Students,

We as the Truman State University Percussion Studio invite you to explore all of the benefits our studio and university have to offer. There is plenty of information that you can find on this website or our Facebook page, and Instagram but that pales in comparison to the experience you will have if you have the opportunity to come visit us in person! You can set up an audition with Dr. Bump (Doc), tour the studio and Ophelia Parish building along with the campus, sit in on rehearsals, and get to know some of the studio members that you may be playing with in the near future!

While at Truman you'll have the opportunity to play in some phenomenal ensembles including wind symphony, concert band, marching band, jazz ensembles, percussion ensemble, steel band, orchestra, and more! We love to explore both new music and older compositions as well as work with some great composers to premiere new works!
